Michael C. Krickmire serves as a Lecturer in the Department of Theatre and Music Studies at SUNY Brockport, where he has taught since 1990 while simultaneously holding administrative roles as Production Manager and Coordinator of Stage Management. His instructional portfolio spans Acting, Directing, Stage Management, and Improvisational Theatre across multiple course levels.
His academic credentials include:
- MFA in Directing from Illinois State University
- MA in Directing/Theatre Education from Western Illinois University
- BA in Theatre from SUNY Brockport
Mr. Krickmire's professional practice centers on theatrical production and pedagogy, with extensive experience directing mainstage productions for both academic and community theaters including Geva Theatre Center, Rochester Community Players, and Nazareth Youtheatre. His educational methodology integrates practical stagecraft with performance theory.
His distinguished service has been recognized through:
