Michael C. Daley, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor at the College of Business, University of New England, where he has taught since 2004. His roles include developing the Economic Minor and coordinating interdisciplinary courses like 'Economics in Context' within the Green Learning Community.

Dr. Daley's research focuses on environmental and ecological economics, macroeconomics, and pedagogical innovations in economic education. He has participated in interdisciplinary research through a Maine EPSCoR grant on community-based ecosystem management in the Saco River Estuary.
At UNE, he has co-chaired the Environmental Council, chaired the Paul D. Merrill Business Ethics Lecture Series committee, and served on the President's Climate Committee Action Team and Graduate Program of Public Health Advisory Committee.
Prior to UNE, he held academic positions at Bates College, University of Southern Maine, and University of Southern New Hampshire.
