Prof. Michael Bollig is a Professor of Anthropology and spokesperson for the Global South Studies Center (GSSC) at the University of Cologne. He specializes in environmental anthropology, political ecology, and conflict research, with a regional focus on Sub-Saharan Africa. His work examines human-environment interactions, pastoralism, and the socio-ecological transformations in regions like Namibia and Kenya.
