Michael Barnett is an Assistant Professor of Finance at Arizona State University's Department of Finance. His research focuses on the implications of climate change, climate model uncertainty, and climate policy on macroeconomic outcomes, asset prices, and social valuations. He employs theoretical modeling, computational methods, and empirical analysis to address critical issues in finance and economics. His work has been published in leading journals such as the Review of Financial Studies and Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, and he received the Michael J. Brennan Best Paper Award (2021).
