Michael Angelis

Michael Angelis is a Lecturer in Visual Arts at Purchase College's School of Art+Design. He is also an Adjunct Professor in Printmaking at Sacred Heart University and has taught studio and digital art at Joel Barlow High School since 2005. His work explores themes of cultural ideas in flux and the interplay between communication and technology.

Research Interests: Angelis's artistic practice focuses on capturing ephemeral concepts through painting and printmaking, examining how cultural constructs evolve over time and how technological advancements influence human communication.
