Michael A. Lapré is a Professor of Operations Management at Vanderbilt University's Owen Graduate School of Management. He serves as Area Coordinator for Operations Management & Quantitative Methods and teaches courses including Managing Operations (Undergraduate Business Minor), Sports Analytics (MBA), and Operations Management (MMHC). His research focuses on organizational learning curves, quality improvement, and sports analytics, with notable contributions to FIFA World Cup tournament design, NFL competitive balance, and airline industry analysis. He holds a PhD from INSEAD and a Drs in Operations Research from Erasmus University.
