Michael A. Cusumano

Michael A. Cusumano is the SMR Distinguished Professor of Management at the MIT Sloan School of Management, with a joint appointment in the MIT School of Engineering. He served as Deputy Dean for Faculty and Research from 2020 to 2024 and has been a director of Orix Corporation in Japan since 2024. His career spans academia, consulting, and executive education, focusing on strategy, product development, and entrepreneurship in technology-driven industries.
