Michał Jakubowski is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Quantitative Methods and Applications of Computer Science at Kozminski University, where he has been employed since 2012. His academic work bridges theoretical research with practical educational applications in digital interaction design.
His research centers on gamification's role in human-computer management interfaces and design science methodologies for digital service creation. He investigates how game mechanics influence employee motivation systems and develops frameworks for optimizing educational simulation effectiveness.

He led a National Science Centre PRELUDIUM project (2017-2019) analyzing gamification system design for HR management.
