Miao Cui

Miao Cui is an Assistant Professor of Genetics at Harvard Medical School, with affiliations to the Department of Cardiology at Boston Children’s Hospital. Her research focuses on the molecular and cellular mechanisms enabling neonatal cardiac tissue regeneration after injury, spanning single-cell to systemic levels.

Research interests include:

• Regenerative Medicine of cardiac tissues
• Developmental Biology of the fetal heart
• Genetic regulation in cardiomyocyte metabolism and proliferation

Her lab collaborates with clinical departments and utilizes advanced technologies to explore both tissue-specific and systemic responses to cardiac injury.
