Mette Mo Jakobsen

Mette Mo Jakobsen is a Vice-Dean of Education at the Faculty of Information Technology, Engineering and Economics and an Adjunct Professor in Product Development and Project-Based Learning at the University of Agder since 2019. Her career spans academia and administrative leadership, with a focus on educational quality, internationalization, and strategic collaboration.

Her research interests include product development, project-based learning, Ecodesign, and educational quality. She has contributed to national guidelines for engineering education and strategic initiatives in lifelong learning.

Current responsibilities include coordinating faculty engagement with industry, enhancing educational collaboration across institutions, and internationalizing curricula. She has held leadership roles such as Dean at Akershus University College (now OsloMet) and Senior Advisor at UHR (Universities Norway).
