Mette Bendixen is an Assistant Professor in the Geography Department at McGill University, Montreal, Canada. Previously, she held positions at the University of Copenhagen (Denmark) and the University of Colorado Boulder (USA). Her research focuses on dynamic landscape processes and their interactions with human systems, particularly in Arctic environments and global aggregate resource management. She leads the Bendixen Lab, which uses remote sensing and interdisciplinary approaches to study land cover dynamics and sustainable development challenges.
