Mete Akcaoglu is a Professor in the Instructional Technology program at Georgia Southern University, affiliated with the Leadership, Technology & Human Development department. His research focuses on designing technology-rich learning environments to foster critical thinking and STEM interests in K-12 children, particularly through game-design activities. He also explores online learning best practices and technology integration policies.
