Mesut Duran

Mesut Duran is a Professor of Technology at the College of Education, Health, and Human Services, University of Michigan-Dearborn. He holds a B.A. from Hacettepe University (Ankara, Turkey), an M.Ed. in Microcomputer Applications in Education from Ohio University, and a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from Ohio University.

His research focuses on technology integration in teacher education, STEM learning, and trends in educational technology. He has authored two Springer publications: Learning Technologies and STEM Learning, and has published extensively in journals and book chapters on technology's role in education.

Dr. Duran's work emphasizes bridging theory and practice in teacher preparation, advocating for innovative uses of technology to enhance educational outcomes. He currently serves as a full-time faculty member with no noted part-time roles or former staff status.
