Merve Kaplan is a Lecturer at Gaziantep University's Oğuzeli Vocational School in the Department of Property Protection and Security. She holds a PhD in Business Administration from the same university, complemented by a master's degree from Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University and a bachelor's from Niğde University.
Her research spans organizational behavior, leadership, tourism management, and cultural economics. Recent work examines:

- Green organizational culture in manufacturing
- Tourism experience effects on destination loyalty
Publication analysis shows consistent focus on Turkish business/tourism contexts, with methodological emphasis on sector-specific empirical studies. She has contributed to 6 academic books on topics ranging from neuromarketing to digital transformation in art markets.
