Dr. Merrilee Anderson is a Professor of Science and Mathematics at Mount Aloysius College. She joined the faculty in 2000 and teaches courses in Botany, Water Ecology, Microbiology, and Human Anatomy & Physiology. Her research focuses on water quality, abandoned mine drainage (AMD), and diatom ecology. Dr. Anderson actively engages students in service projects and fieldwork, including studies on AMD-impacted systems and international trips to Guyana, Costa Rica, and Ireland.
