Meredith Gaglio

Meredith Gaglio is an Assistant Professor of Architecture at Louisiana State University's College of Art & Design. She holds a PhD in Architecture (Columbia University, 2019), MDes (Harvard University, 2010), and BArch/MArch (Tulane University, 2005). Her research focuses on modern architectural technology, urbanism, and environmental design, particularly exploring sustainability movements from the late 1960s to 1980s. She has held prestigious fellowships from the Smithsonian Institution, Canadian Centre for Architecture, and Buell Center for American Architecture.

Her scholarly work includes co-editing *The Whole Earth Field Guide* (MIT Press, 2016) and contributing to exhibitions like ArchiteXX’s *Now What?!* Her recent essays analyze California’s Office of Appropriate Technology and experimental groups like the RAIN group. She teaches courses such as ARCH 2007 (History of Architecture I) and ARCH 2401 (Appreciation of Architecture).
