Meredith Clements is an Associate Professor in the Communication Department at The University of Tampa, specializing in health communication, public speaking in professional settings, and gender studies. She directs UT's Center for Public Speaking (@utampaspeech) and mentors students in leadership and organizational presence.

Notable awards include the 2024 SURF Faculty Mentor Award, 2022-2023 Florida Communication Association Scholar of the Year, and multiple NCA and FCA recognitions for research and teaching excellence. She received the 2018-2019 Board of Fellows Research Grant at The University of Tampa.
Clements teaches courses such as Speech for Business and the Professions, Health Communication, and Oral Communication (Honors). She emphasizes creativity and critical thinking, encouraging nontraditional problem-solving approaches in her classroom.
She leads UT's Center for Public Speaking, supporting students in developing organizational leadership skills and advancing communication research through interdisciplinary partnerships.
