Meredith Bryarly is a Clinical Professor at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Neurology. She joined the faculty in 2016 and specializes in autonomic and neuromuscular disorders. She founded and directs the Autonomic Disorders Clinic at the Dallas VA and participates in the Multiple System Atrophy (MSA) Clinic at UT Southwestern. Her clinical expertise includes autonomic studies, nerve conduction studies, electromyography (EMG), and single-fiber EMG.
Dr. Bryarly holds board certifications in Neurology (2015), Neuromuscular Medicine (2016), and Autonomic Disorders (2018). She completed her undergraduate studies at Yale University, earned her medical degree from UT Health Science Center in San Antonio, and underwent neurology residency and fellowships in neuromuscular and autonomic disorders at UT Southwestern.
Her research focuses on postural tachycardia syndrome (POTS), orthostatic hypotension (OH), and MSA, leading clinical trials in autonomic disorders. She also contributes to medical education as the Associate Clerkship Director for the UT Southwestern Neurology Clerkship and participates in medical school committees.
Dr. Bryarly is actively involved in professional associations, including the 2019 UCNS subspecialty program task force. Her work emphasizes advancing clinical care, diagnostic tools, and therapeutic strategies for autonomic and neuromuscular diseases.
