Mercy Bashir is an Associate Professor in the School of Nursing at Salem State University and a dual board-certified adult gerontology and psychiatric nurse practitioner with extensive clinical experience, including military service as a combat medic in the US Army during Operation Iraq Freedom and in the Air Force Reserves.
