Merab Kokaia is a renowned Professor in the Division of Neurology at Lund University (since 2008) and Chavchavadze State University (since 2011). His career spans over three decades, including roles as Director of the Epilepsy Center at Lund University (since 2013) and coordinator of the EU FP7 EPITARGET project (2013-2018). He has held academic positions across Sweden, Georgia, and the UK, with expertise in epilepsy, neuroscience, and neurophysiology.
