Dr Mengwei Tu is a Senior Lecturer in Sociology at Swansea University's School of Social Sciences, within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. She holds a PhD from the University of Kent and previously worked as a Lecturer in China before joining Swansea. Her research focuses on international migration, particularly international student mobility and transnational family dynamics between China and the UK. She leads a major project on migration networks and career trajectories of students from Belt-Road countries in China.
