Mengmeng Du

Mengmeng Du is an Associate Attending Epidemiologist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center with a joint appointment as Associate Professor at Weill Cornell Medicine. Her primary affiliation is with the Epidemiology & Biostatistics department where she leads critical research initiatives focused on reducing cancer burden in underserved populations.

Dr. Du's research spans endometrial, colorectal, and pancreatic cancers with particular emphasis on health disparities affecting Black women and international populations. She leads the Data Coordinating Center for the Epidemiology of Endometrial Cancer Consortium (E2C2) investigating the twofold higher endometrial cancer mortality in Black women, and directs the MSK Pancreatic Tumor Registry. Her work with the African Research Group for Oncology (ARGO) examines colorectal cancer genomics in Nigerian populations. Recent publications demonstrate her leadership in large-scale pooled analyses examining obesity trajectories, hypertension, and night shift work as risk factors for endometrial cancer, alongside innovative work on pancreatic cancer risk prediction models.

Dr. Du is deeply committed to scientific education as co-director of MSK's Quantitative Sciences Undergraduate Research Experience (QSURE) program and serves on the MSK Research Council and NYC Epidemiology Forum Scientific Committee. Her research is funded by the National Cancer Institute, National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences, David M. Rubenstein Center for Pancreatic Cancer Research, and philanthropic sources.
