Mengfan Guo is a Goldsmiths’ Early Career Research Fellow at Churchill College, affiliated with the Department of Materials Science & Metallurgy at the University of Cambridge. He holds a BS and PhD from Tsinghua University. His research focuses on polar materials for energy and information applications, particularly studying toroidal topologies in ferroelectric polymers and electrocaloric effects for eco-friendly heat pumps. Key areas include dielectric properties, piezoelectric behavior, and energy storage solutions.
