Meng-Han Joseph Chung

Meng-Han Joseph Chung is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Australian National University's Division of Ecology and Evolution. His research focuses on behavioral ecology and ecophysiolog, examining how animals adapt their reproductive strategies to environmental and social challenges. He holds a PhD from ANU (2023) and collaborates with Prof. Michael Jennions and Dr. Megan Head.

Education: PhD in Ecology and Evolution from ANU (2023), supported by Australian Government and Taiwanese scholarships. Research interests include reproductive plasticity, long-term costs of mating, and environmental stress effects on life-history traits in fish. Primary study species include Gambusia holbrooki and other freshwater fish.

Research highlights include investigating how salinity fluctuations impact fish productivity, temperature effects on life-history traits, and the interplay between mating behaviors and sperm investment. His work bridges evolutionary biology, ecology, and physiology to understand organismal adaptation in changing environments.
