Meltem BİLİCİ

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Meltem BİLİCİ serves at Pamukkale University's Faculty of Engineering, Department of Environmental Engineering in Denizli, Türkiye. Her research focuses on critical water treatment challenges including arsenic and boron removal from drinking water sources using advanced coagulation, adsorption, and electrochemical techniques.

Her educational background includes a Licence in Environmental Engineering from Dokuz Eylul University (1998), Master's Degree in Environmental Technology from Pamukkale University (2003), and Doctorate in Environmental Technology from Dokuz Eylul University (2009). Her doctoral research specifically addressed "Arsenic Removal from Drinking Water" under Prof. Dr. Ayşegül PALA.

Research interests center on water quality management, heavy metal contamination remediation, and sustainable treatment methodologies. Her work demonstrates particular expertise in response surface methodology for process optimization and application of natural materials like clinoptilolite for adsorption processes.
