Melissa Parker is an Emeritus Senior Lecturer in the Department of Physical Education & Sport Sciences at the University of Limerick. She previously served as a Professor at the University of Northern Colorado and has extensive experience in elementary physical education and programs for underserved youth. Her academic background includes a Ph.D. and M.A. from The Ohio State University and an undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where she received the 2003 Distinguished Alumni Award in Health and Human Performance.
