Melissa Lion Jolly

Melissa Lion Jolly is an Instructor at the University of Missouri's School of Visual Studies within the College of Arts and Science. She holds a BFA in Digital Filmmaking and has been actively involved in independent video production, education, and community media initiatives. Her work includes co-founding the Vidwest Music Video Fest (2018), revitalizing Columbia Access Television into Vidwest Studios as the Community Media Center, and serving as Field Coordinator for the Discovery+ series Relentless (2021). She currently focuses on true crime documentaries and experimental/narrative filmmaking.
