Dr. Melissa A. Fitch is a University Distinguished Professor at the University of Arizona's College of Humanities, specializing in transnational cultural studies. With a PhD from Arizona State University (1995), her research examines global cultural flows spanning mass media, digital culture, and popular arts. She maintains active research partnerships across Asia (India, China) and Latin America, exploring cultural intersections through dance, literature, and media.
