Melinda Gann Hall is a Professor of Political Science at Michigan State University (MSU) and a Faculty Affiliate with the MSU College of Law. She holds the Distinguished Faculty Award from MSU and the 2016 Career Achievement Award from the American Political Science Association (APSA) for contributions to state politics research. Her expertise spans judicial politics, state supreme courts, and judicial elections, with a focus on campaign advertising and electoral dynamics.
Hall earned her Ph.D. from the University of New Orleans in 1983 and joined MSU in 1996.
