Melanie Doucet is a PhD candidate and lecturer at the McGill University School of Social Work, where she also serves as a member of the Centre for Research on Children and Families (CRCF). Her academic journey includes a joint PhD program between McGill University and Université de Montréal, supported by prestigious SSHRC and Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation Doctoral scholarships.
Melanie's research focuses on empowering youth transitioning out of the child welfare system through collaborative methods like photovoice. Her work emphasizes
