Melanie Cosby serves as an Assistant Professor at Temple University's Lewis Katz School of Medicine, where she contributes to the Center for Health Justice and Bioethics. She also holds the role of Director in the Office of Health Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, advancing institutional initiatives in these areas.
- PhD in Counseling Psychology from West Virginia University
- MS in Rehabilitation Counseling from West Virginia University
Her research focuses broadly on counseling psychology, rehabilitation counseling, and health equity, with a particular emphasis on bioethics and diversity/inclusion frameworks in medical contexts.
As a faculty member, Dr. Cosby combines clinical training with leadership roles to address systemic health disparities and promote ethical healthcare practices.
