Dr. Meir Ben-Shahar is a faculty member teaching in the Department of Jewish History at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Sha'anan College.
He received his Ph.D. in Jewish History from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Dr. Ben-Shahar's research focuses on historical consciousness in ancient Judaism, with particular expertise in rabbinic literature, Second Temple literature, and the works of Josephus.
