Meike Jipp

Prof. Dr. Meike Jipp is the Executive Vice President of Energy and Transport at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) since August 1, 2023. She holds a Special Professorship in 'Transport Demand and Impacts' at the Technical University of Berlin and has a habilitation from the Faculty of Life Sciences at the Technical University of Braunschweig.

  • Habilitation in Life Sciences at Technical University of Braunschweig (2017)

Her research focuses on the analysis, evaluation, and optimization of transportation systems, examining:

• Mobility behavior and decision-making
• Human-machine interaction in complex systems
• Impact of spatial/service/transport design on mobility

She leads DLR's Institute of Transport Research and has held leadership roles in multiple DLR departments since 2010.
