Mehwish Yousaf

Mehwish Yousaf, M.Phil., is a Researcher at the Institute of Microtechnology, Technische Universität Braunschweig, Germany, since 2024. She earned a B.S. in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics (2014) and M.Phil. in Molecular Biology (2016) from the University of the Punjab, Pakistan. Prior to her current role, she served as a Lecturer in Biology (2016-2024) at Govt. Associate College for Women, Pakistan, and worked as a Molecular Biologist (2018-2021) at Innova Labs and Diagnostics, Lahore, Pakistan.

Research Interests

Her work focuses on:

• Tissue engineering for regenerative medicine
• 3D bioprinting techniques for scaffold fabrication
• Channel design for nutrient and drug transportation

Her Master's thesis explored Expression Profiling of Adhesion Proteins in Prenatal and Postnatal Liver Tissue of Rat, while her ongoing PhD research (as per tentative title) involves 3D-Bioprinted Scaffolds for Tissue Engineering, aligning with TU Braunschweig's strategic focus on advanced microtechnology applications.
