Dr. Mehmet Kayakuş is an Associate Professor at Akdeniz University's Department of Business Information within the Manavgat Faculty of Social and Human Sciences. He holds a PhD in Computer Engineering and has held academic positions since 2010, progressing from Lecturer to Assistant Professor (2018) and Associate Professor (2023). His expertise spans artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data mining applications in communication sciences, finance, and econometrics. He teaches courses in programming (Python, Java, C#), algorithms, and software engineering.
Dr. Kayakuş leads 11 national/international research projects and has over 80 publications, including 30+ in SCI journals. His research focuses on AI-driven analyses of corporate reputation, sustainability, and financial metrics.
