Dr. Mehmet Ismail is a Lecturer in Economics and Teaching Fellow in Higher Education at King's College London's Department of Political Economy. He holds a PhD in Economics from Maastricht University and a Master's in Applied Mathematics from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. His research focuses on game theory, political economy, and fairness in sports and games. He has conducted research visits at New York University and Bielefeld University through the Erasmus Mundus QEM program.
