Mehmet Dede is an Associate Professor of Music and Performing Arts Management at The Hartt School (University of Hartford). He is an internationally acclaimed Music Curator, Festival Producer, and Tour Promoter with over 20 years of experience in cultural programming and entrepreneurship.

Dede is also the Director of Programming at Drom, a renowned New York City venue for world music, and co-founder of the NY Gypsy Festival.
