Prof. Dr. Mehmet Cüneyd Demirel is a Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Istanbul Technical University, specializing in Remote Sensing, Hydrology, and Water Resources Management. He has held roles including Associate Professor (2019–2024) and Doctorate Lecturer, with post-doctoral research at institutions like the Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland and Portland State University.
Education includes a PhD from the University of Twente (2008–2014), an MSc in Hydroelectronics from Istanbul Technical University (2001–2004), and a BEng in Civil Engineering from Selçuk University (1997–2001).
