Mehmet Ali Alkan is a Lecturer at Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University's Ula Ali Koçman Vocational School, Department of Electrical and Energy. With a Bachelor's degree in Machining Education from Dumlupınar University (2000-2004) and Master's in Mechanical Education from Afyon Kocatepe University (2007-2009), he specializes in renewable energy education, thermoeconomic analysis, and manufacturing process optimization.

- Active in geothermal district heating systems and exergoeconomic analysis since 2011
