Meghan Migeon

Meghan Migeon, DMSc, MS, PA-C is Chair of the Department of Physician Assistant Studies and a Professor at Springfield College's School of Health Sciences. She holds a Doctor of Medical Sciences from Lynchburg University (2020), a Master of Science from Springfield College (2005), and a Bachelor of Science from Westfield State University (2002).

Her career began in emergency medicine at Baystate Medical Center, where she also developed a strong passion for teaching by precepting students. Since 2008, she has balanced clinical practice in emergency medicine with full-time academic roles, focusing on advancing physician assistant education through simulation-based research and doctoral-level scholarship.

Key certifications include National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) board certification since 2005, Massachusetts licensure, and advanced life support credentials (BLS and ACLS). She actively contributes to professional organizations like the Massachusetts Association of PAs.
