Megan Waldhuber is a Lecturer in Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences Education at Monash University. She is a registered pharmacist with a research background in molecular virology and significant experience in biological sciences education. Currently, she serves as the unit coordinator for BPS3021 Biotechnology and BPS3022 Microbiology and Immunology.
Her research interests focus on the science of teaching and learning in pharmacy education, particularly strategies for enhancing student engagement. While her early career involved direct molecular virology research (e.g., HSV diagnostics, GFP-Vpr fusion protein studies), her recent work centers on educational methodologies and biological systems analysis through cytoplasmic streaming experiments.
Megan has contributed to 3 research outputs across 1999, 2003, and 2012, primarily in virology and cell biology. Her projects have been supported by the NHMRC and Collier Charitable Fund, including work on microinjector technology and HIV protein mechanisms.
