Anthony White is an Associate Professor at Monash University's Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences, serving as academic co-director of the Clinical Years of the Medical Degree. He holds an external position as a Cardiologist at the Victorian Heart Hospital since 2010. His research integrates molecular biology with clinical cardiology, focusing on coronary artery disease mechanisms, stem cell therapies, and genetic determinants of cardiovascular conditions. He has led three NHMRC-funded projects exploring cardiac stem cells and miRNA roles in cardiomyocyte specification.
Education: MBBS from University of Melbourne (1996) and a PhD in Biomechanical, Biochemical and Genetic Determinants of Unstable Coronary Disease.
