Megan Spokas is a Lecturer at Princeton University's Department of Psychology, based in Peretsman Scully Hall. She holds a Ph.D. from Temple University and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Aaron T. Beck Psychopathology Research Center (University of Pennsylvania), funded by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
Her research focuses on cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) applications for anxiety disorders, trauma-related conditions, and suicide prevention. She emphasizes improving suicide prevention strategies and understanding trauma's impact on mental health risks. As a licensed psychologist, she has consulted nationally on CBT implementation within the VA Healthcare System.
She currently teaches Psychopathology (PSY 207) at Princeton, integrating clinical expertise with academic instruction.
