Megan Murray is the Ronda Stryker and William Johnston Professor of Global Health at Harvard Medical School, Professor in the Department of Epidemiology at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and Associate Professor of Medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital. She serves as Director of Research for the Department of Global Health and Social Medicine at Harvard Medical School, where she leads the Global Health Research Core, a multidisciplinary group focused on linking research to teaching and service activities.
Her research explores tuberculosis epidemiology and transmission dynamics of emerging infectious diseases, with field studies conducted in Peru, Rwanda, South Africa, Ukraine, Russia, and the United States. Current work focuses on reducing health impacts of climate change in low- and middle-income countries.
