She works under the supervision of Prof. Marina Resmini on the GreenX3 project, which focuses on developing diagnostic tools to assess sustainable plastic alternatives and their environmental impacts.
Research Interests: Megan’s work intersects chemistry, materials science engineering, and sustainability technologies, including:
- Polymer science for biodegradable plastics
- Physico-chemical analysis of degradation pathways
- Environmental impact of synthetic materials
- Development of diagnostic tools for material evaluation
Funding: Her research is supported by the European Union Horizon Europe MSCA Doctoral Network programme (Grant Agreement No. 101120061) and UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) [grant number EP/Y032039/1].
Prior Experience: Megan has worked in corporate R&D on hybrid materials for medical devices and high-precision Si-anode components for Li-ion batteries.
