Megan Grumbling is an Adjunct Professor in the School of Marine and Environmental Programs and Developmental Writing Specialist in the Student Academic Success Center at the University of New England. Her interdisciplinary work focuses on writing and environmental literature.
Her creative and scholarly interests examine human-nature relationships, climate crisis narratives, and ecological consciousness through poetry, essays, and cross-disciplinary collaborations. She develops environmental art projects and performances that bridge scientific and humanistic perspectives.
Her teaching integrates environmental themes into writing pedagogy, emphasizing connections between language, place, and ecological awareness. She fosters creative responses to environmental challenges through community-engaged projects.
