Max Planck Institute for Dynamics of Complex Technical Systemsمعرفی
Dr. Meenakshi Joshi is a researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Dynamics of Complex Technical Systems, leading the Molecular Simulations and Design group in Magdeburg, Germany. Her research focuses on theoretical and computational studies of transition metal complexes for electrocatalytic hydrogen evolution, molecular catalyst design, and advanced materials characterization. She holds a Ph.D. and has extensively contributed to the development of novel catalysts for energy storage and green hydrogen technologies. Her work integrates computational chemistry (DFT, molecular dynamics) with experimental techniques to explore catalytic mechanisms and material behaviors. Current projects include designing rigidified FeFe hydrogenase mimics and studying ligand effects on catalytic activity.
Her address is Sandtorstrasse 1, 39106 Magdeburg, Germany and can be reached at mjoshi@dynamicsofcomplexsystems.mpg.de. Research interests span inorganic chemistry, catalysis, and computational modeling of energy-related systems. Recent studies highlight her group's work on manganese/ruthenium complexes and bridging dithiolate ligands for hydrogen production applications.
