Meegan Howlett

Meegan Howlett is an Adjunct Research Fellow at the UWA Medical School, specializing in Paediatrics. Her research focuses on pediatric brain tumors, immunotherapy strategies, and preclinical models of cancer treatment. She contributes to Sustainable Development Goals related to health and well-being through her work on innovative therapies for pediatric cancers.

Research Interests:

• Development of novel therapies for brain tumors using xenograft models
• Immunotherapy targeting myeloid cells in medulloblastoma
• Combination therapies involving ONC201 and radiation

Grants & Collaborations:

• Investigator on projects funded by Cancer Council NSW (2015-2017)
• Collaborations in group 3 medulloblastoma research and diffuse midline glioma studies

Labs/Teams: Active in interdisciplinary teams developing targeted interventions for pediatric cancers, including work with mouse models and clinical trial preparation.
