Dr. Md Zobaer Hasan is a Lecturer at the School of Science, Monash University Malaysia (MUM) and was a Visiting Academic (March 13–April 14, 2023) at the School of Computing, Mathematics and Engineering, Charles Sturt University, Australia. He holds a PhD in Statistical Science from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM).
His research spans biostatistics, public health, and data mining, with doctoral expertise in stock market analysis. He integrates statistical methods into multidisciplinary projects, including collaborations with four international universities. Key initiatives include Health modelling with big data from Southeast Asia under Professor Azizur Rahman.
At MUM, he coordinates the Bachelor of Applied Data Science program and two statistics subjects, employing technological innovations in pedagogy. He secured seven education grants (three as Principal Investigator) and received:
- Gold Award in Education Innovation (Team member)
- Bronze Award in Education Innovation
