Md Selim Habib

Md Selim Habib is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the College of Engineering and Science, Florida Institute of Technology. His research focuses on advanced photonics and optoelectronic systems, with expertise in:

• Nonlinear fiber optics
• Ultrafast laser applications
• Optoelectronic device engineering
• Fiber-based sensor technologies

He actively contributes to scientific outreach, as evidenced by his participation in the Optical Society of America (OSA) advocacy initiatives and judging roles for science fairs.
